About the Texas Municipal League Higher Education Committee (TMLHEC)
Cities with institutions of higher education are faced with unique opportunities and challenges. TMLHEC was formed in 2008 to serve as a network for college and university cities. TMLHEC serves as a forum for cities to share information on issues that are unique to cities with institutions of higher education.
Who Should Participate?
Elected and appointed city officials in TML member cities with an institution of higher education within or adjacent to city boundaries are encouraged to participate.

The HigherEducationNet is a web-based communication system that is intended to facilitate communication among cities with a college or university. It should be used to share information and collaborate on issues that are unique to cities with institutions of higher education.
We encourage you to join this complimentary service and participate – whether you have a question or an answer.
