Wharton
Item Available: 1981 American LaFrance Ladder Truck
The City of Wharton is accepting bids for a 1981 American LaFrance Ladder Truck with 10,439 miles. The minimum bid is $5,000.
Copies of the documents may be obtained from the City Secretary at City Hall, 120 E. Caney Street, Wharton, TX.
Bids must be received by Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. addressed to the City Secretary marked "Surplus Property - Ladder Truck." Bids received after the deadline will be considered void and unacceptable.

Hill Country Village
Item Available: 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Vehicle (3)
The City of Hill Country Village is selling three 2006 Ford Crown Victoria police package vehicles. Vehicles have approximately 80 - 85 thousand miles. All vehicles come with light bars, push bumpers, cages, sirens, light bar control switch, arrow stick and center console.
Vehicles are black and white and already have "police" decals on the sides and vehicle numbers on the roof and back of trunk lid. Cars will sell for $6,500 or best offer. One car is available immediately and the other two first week in November. We just bought Dodge Chargers and are selling these.

1989 American Eagle; Ford custom cab, in great shape cosmetically, operationally, and mechanically; Caterpillar 3208 Turbo, odometer reads 30,475 miles; truck and chassis maintained on regular basis; all tires are less than three years old with less than 500 miles on them; engine is equipped with a 1250 GPM Hale pump, and a 750 gallon poly tank, tank does not leak, top mount pump panel, three cross lays, ample space in hose bed, and plenty of cabinet space; Yamaha generator, 5000 Watt in the rear center compartment, with two side halogen lights on extension poles; all cab seats except driver are SCBA seats, all warning lights are functional; the power steering leaks and needs to be filled occasionally and the batteries needed to be replace; pictures available on request.
