TML Annual Conference and Exhibition FAQ
If you don’t know your login id and password, click on the Find Me and Register button on the Registration page. If you are listed in the current TML online directory or have registered for a TML event in the last 12 months, we already have your record in our database. From the Find Me and Register page, you will need to create a new login id (i.e., your e-mail address) and password. If you don’t believe you already have a record with TML, click on the Sign Me Up and Register button on the Registration page.
There’s no need to create your own record if you are not registering for the event. Simply use your council’s or boss's login id and password to register them. If you don’t know their login ids and passwords, please click on the Find Me and Register page and create a new login id and password for them.
If you want to be able to register multiple people at the same time, we will need to provide you special access to all your city officials listed in our database. Only the TML Key Contact (Key Contact List by City) for your city has this special access automatically. Please contact the TML office at database@tml.org or 512-231-7400 to request this special access.
If you are registered and cannot attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute, a $45 cancellation fee will be assessed if written cancellation is received by September 23, 2010. No refunds will be honored after September 23, 2010. No telephone cancellations will be accepted, and refunds are available for registraton fees only. Cancellations in writing may be mailed to TML Annual Conference and Exhibition, 1821 Rutherford Lane, Suite 400, Austin, TX 78754-5128; faxed to 512-231-7495; or e-mailed to acct@tml.org.
There is not a host hotel. TML has secured rooms at several hotels near the American Bank Center for delegates during the TML Annual Conference and Exhibition.
In order to receive TML conference rates, you must book your room online through the TML/AC Housing Bureau. Please visit ed_ac_housing_info.html for detailed instructions. You may have more than one person with your city log on simultaneously so reservations can be entered quickly.

Yes. A one-day registration option will be available to any TML member city official or TML associate member who would like to attend Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday activities only. The one-day registration fee includes access to all educational sessions, affiliate board and business meetings, handout materials, a conference bag, a conference CD, and the exhibit hall on the specified day.If you complete your one-day registration online, the fee is $150; the fee increases to $175 for those who register by mail. Those who register for Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday only will receive a badge pre-printed with the preferred day identified. Please note that meal functions are not included in the one-day registration fee and must be purchased separately. However, those who register for Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday only cannot register for a ticketed event on a day for which they have not registered.
With the exception of the Thursday TML Risk Pools' Breakfast, all TML meal functions require a separate payment and ticket.
A city official or city employee must register as a delegate, not as a guest.
