Hotel Reservations

The Embassy Suites San Marcos Hotel, located at 3101 South IH 35, has offered a special rate of $119 single/double until February 10, 2009. For reservations, call the hotel at 512-392-6450 and refer to the BOAT Mid-Year Meeting room block. The Embassy Suites provides a cooked-to-order breakfast and evening reception to all overnight guests.

One-Day Registration

A one-day registration fee is available for Thursday, February 26, 2009. The $100 fee includes breakfast, lunch, refreshment breaks, and educational sessions on Thursday. To attend the Awards Banquet, you must purchase a separate ticket.

Registration Fees

Full registration includes all activities except golf and the Capitol Day trip to Austin. Guests may attend seminars but must purchase tickets for all meals and optional activities.

BOAT Golf Tournament (optional event)

Join us at the beautiful Plum Creek Golf Course for the annual BOAT Golf Tournament. The course is located at 750 Kohler’s Crossing in Kyle. On more than 200 acres, Plum Creek winds through the beautiful Texas Hill Country. The golf course features 18 championship holes of golf, each with its own unique character. Required dress code is collared shirts and soft spike golf shoes or tennis shoes only. Please do not wear denim pants, shorts, tee shirts, or tank tops. The fee to participate in the tournament is $50 per person and includes lunch. Transportation is on your own. For questions regarding the tournament, please contact Lawrence Crow at 972-721-4875 or LCrow@cityofirving.org.

Boat Capitol Day (optional event)

Join us for a field trip to Austin for BOAT Capitol Day on Wednesday, February 25. This is your chance to visit with legislators and their staff about legislation that may impact the building construction industry and Texas cities. The fee is $20 per person and includes shuttle and refreshments. Lunch is on your own.

BOAT Awards Banquet and Casino Night

Your full registration fee includes the BOAT Awards Banquet and Casino Night at the hotel. A cash bar will be available. Additional banquet tickets may be purchased for guests or if you are registering for Thursday only. PLEASE INDICATE YOUR ATTENDANCE ON YOUR REGISTRATION FORM and wear your name badge to the banquet.

Rental Car Information (Two Choices)

Enterprise Corporate Class discounts are available at www.enterprise.com. Under "Optional," enter the Corporate Class number, which is Y21222, and then hit "Search." Enter TEX for the company name. You may also call 800-736-8222 to make a reservation.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy:

If you are registered and cannot attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute, a $45 registration cancellation fee will be assessed if written cancellation is received by February 10, 2008. No refunds will be honored after February 10, 2008.
