GENERAL INFORMATION

Conference Location

The conference will be held at the Camino Real Hotel, located at 101 South El Paso Street in El Paso.

Full Delegate Registration Fee

(Register online and save $30 for a total of $195; includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday sessions) $225

Delegate Registration

The full delegate registration fee includes all educational sessions on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; the Friday host city reception; handouts; and scheduled refreshment breaks. The Friday and Saturday breakfasts and the Saturday Awards Luncheon are separate ticketed events.

Spouse/Guest Registration

The spouse/guest registration fee of $35 includes all educational sessions on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; handouts; and scheduled refreshment breaks. Guests who wish to participate in the Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch, and Sunday breakfast must purchase tickets for those events.

El Paso Shopping and Sightseeing Tour

Guests may participate in the El Paso Shopping Tour on Saturday, February 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with stops at The El Paso Chile Co.; Rocketbuster Boots; Placita Santa Fe, a small old adobe motel with little gift shops and antiques; Helen of Troy Outlet, with products such as Revlon, Vidal Sassoon, Dr. Scholl's, and OXO; and Saddleblanket, where you’ll find an array of turquoise and silver jewelry, pottery, rugs, and much more. Lunch is included.

The tour has a 25-person minimum, and the cost is included in the guest registration fee. Although the tour is included in the spouse/guest registration fee, only persons who have indicated their participation on the registration form will be allowed on the tour. Others interested in participating must pay the guest registration fee of $35 to join the tour.

Saturday Evening at the Plaza Theatre

Enjoy a thrilling night at the historic Plaza Theatre and see Riverdance: Farewell Performance on Friday, February 12, or Saturday, February 13, at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from Ticketmaster, http://www.ticketmaster.com/search?tm_link=tm_homeA_header_search&q=River+dance+in+el+paso or 800-745-3000.  For more information about the theatre, go to www.theplazatheatre.org.

Registration Policies

If you are registered and cannot attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute, a $75 cancellation fee per person will be assessed if written cancellation is received by Friday, January 15. No refunds will be honored after January 15. No refunds will be given on optional tickets purchased, and no telephone cancellations will be accepted.

Badges/Tickets

Badges and optional tickets you ordered will be mailed to you in advance. REMEMBER—PLEASE BRING YOUR BADGE AND TICKETS TO THE CONFERENCE. Check in at the registration desk to receive your final program.

Continuing Education Credits (CEUs)

Elected officials can earn credit toward a Texas Municipal League Institute certificate for participation in the Elected Officials’ Conference. CEU forms will be available on site and on the TML Web site after the event.
