TCMA Annual Conference Information

*Special members include TCMA members who have joined since July 1, 2007; first-time attendees from cities with a population of less than 5,000; members of statewide assistants’ organizations who are NOT TCMA members; and academicians.

[The above delegate registration fees include all sessions, handouts, a conference bag, refreshment breaks, the Friday Welcome Reception, and the Monday brunch. All of the following events are priced separately, and tickets can be ordered on the registration form: Six Flags Over Texas One-Day Ticket, Hurricane Harbor One-Day Ticket, Awards Luncheon (Friday), Texas Rangers Baseball Game (Friday night), Regional Breakfasts (Saturday), Power-Up Luncheon (Saturday), Youth Event (Saturday night), and Adult Social Event (Saturday night)]

(Local government officials may NOT attend or register as a spouse, guest, or youth.)
The spouse/guest and youth registration fee includes the Friday Welcome Reception and the Monday Brunch; all other special events are priced separately, and tickets can be ordered on the registration form. Spouses and older youth are welcome to attend educational sessions.

Each individual must be registered at the appropriate rate. To take advantage of the early-bird discount, your registration form or online registration (at www.tcma.org or www.tml.org) must be received in the TCMA office by May 30. Mail all printed registration forms to TCMA Annual Conference, 1821 Rutherford Lane, Suite 400, Austin, Texas 78754, or fax them to 512-231-7495.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS:

The Sheraton Arlington Hotel, located at 1500 Convention Center Drive in Arlington, has offered a room rate of $119 single/$129 double. This rate and room availability cannot be guaranteed after June 4. When making reservations, please call 800-442-7275 and identify yourself as a Texas City Management Association Annual Conference delegate. Please note that TCMA Annual Conference delegates are NOT exempt from hotel occupancy taxes.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you are registered and cannot attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute, a $45 registration cancellation fee will be assessed if written cancellation is received in the TCMA office by May 30. No refunds will be honored after May 30.

HOSPITALITY SUITE POLICY:

TCMA discourages hospitality suite functions, which give rise to the appearance of seeking preferential treatment for a particular business. Individuals involved in such activities risk disciplinary actions as deemed appropriate by the Board in keeping with the TCMA Code of Ethics.

GOLF:

Please download the separate form to register for the golf tournament, and return your registration to the address provided on the form (NOT to TCMA). The tournament is scheduled for 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 26, at the Tierra Verde Golf Course. The cost per player is $25.

CONFERENCE ATTIRE:

Casual attire is traditional for all TCMA Annual Conference events. For more information about Arlington, please visit www.arlington.org
