Conducting Effective Internal Investigations

Joseph L. Parks, Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP, Dallas

When an allegation of wrongdoing is made, the first steps taken to address the allegation may prove critical, if the complaint evolves into an external lawsuit or EEOC charge. More importantly, how a complaint is handled may influence whether the parties even decide to pursue the issue further.
