IMPLEMENTATION OF FTC IDENTITY THEFT RULES IS DELAYED
The implementation date of Federal Trade Commission (FTC) rules requiring cities to adopt identity theft programs (pursuant to the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions [FACT] Act of 2003) has been extended from August 1, 2009, to November 1, 2009.
