COMPTROLLER’S FINANCIAL TRANSPARENCY AWARD PROGRAM
The Texas comptroller, as part of ongoing efforts relating to government transparency, created the Leadership Circle Award program. If your city posts two of three financial documents online, you may qualify. Eligible documents are the current budget, the annual financial report, and the check/expense register. The deadline to apply for the 2012 program is December 31. More information is available at http://www.texastransparency.org/local/leadership.php.
