Exhibitor Move-In for Texas Municipal League 96th Annual Conference and Exhibition
Privately Owned Vehicles:
The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center has limited dock space available for all vehicles loading and unloading on the property. Exhibitors will use the West Loading Dock entrance. Since there is to be NO parking or standing of vehicles on Alamo Street (you may be ticketed and/or towed), we have obtained use of a parking lot, also known as a Marshaling Yard, to use as a waiting area. Exhibitors needing to unload a vehicle will report to the Marshaling Yard, where they will be given a dock pass. When space is available you will be directed to the convention center in order to deliver your booth freight. Please refer to the Exhibitor Service Manual page “14d Marshaling Yard Directions” (look for your login information for the Exhibitor Service Manual via e-mail the week of July 21).
We will have targeted move-in times on Monday, October 27 and Tuesday, October 28 in order to alleviate the privately owned vehicles (POV) traffic congestion that occurs during move-in for the TML Annual Conference and Exhibition. Refer to the color-coded floor plan to see when your booth is scheduled to move into the show floor.
Please note on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 no POV’s will be permitted on the docks. All POV’s must deliver booth freight by Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 5:00 pm.
Large Equipment:
Large equipment move-in will be Sunday, October 26, 2008, by appointment only. Please look for “14h Mobile Handling Service” form in your Exhibitor Service Manual.
