Tom Hart
Tom Hart has been City Manager in Grand Prairie since 1999. Prior to joining Grand Prairie, he served as City Manager in Euless, for 10 years beginning in 1989 and early in his career was city manager of Dennison and The Colony. The City of Grand Prairie, with a population of 150,000, is an extremely fast growing city in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. In the past decade Grand Prairie has added 50,000 residents and permits issued for new homes are at an all time high, with a new home being built every five hours.
Tom holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and has done graduate work in Public Administration at the University of North Texas and the University of Texas at Arlington.
Tom is married and has two teenage sons along with two dogs. He is extremely proud of his dogs.
