Workplace Conflict and Strategies for Resolving It

Friday April 1, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Texas Municipal Center, Austin

The word “conflict” carries a deeply negative connotation. Many of us avoid conflict at all cost, often to the detriment of our organization and ourselves. When it does arise, most of us are not practiced in effectively managing it. Keeping the peace becomes an artificial, unhealthy goal. This class explores the nature of conflict, underlying causes, benefits of having conflict in the workplace, and strategies for resolving unhealthy conflict.

Joe SerioAbout the Speaker

Joe Serio, Ph.D., is a frequent speaker and trainer for TML, and trains government employees from line staff to mayors and council members.
