SECO to hold Property Assessed Clean Energy Webinar

Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) is a program that provides low-cost, long-term financing for water and energy conservation improvements to commercial and industrial properties.  Senate Bill 825, passed during the 2013 regular legislative session, allows cities and counties to enact resolutions enabling PACE programs in their community.

The State Energy Conservation Office will conduct a webinar to introduce local government officials to the PACE program.  The introductory webinar is the first in a three-part series focusing on: (1) familiarizing city and county officials with the economic development, water, and energy conservation potential of PACE financing; (2) what is required to establish city, county, or regional PACE programs; and (3) a first look at the tools being developed to support the rollout of local programs.

The webinar – “Introducing PACE in Texas” – will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  You can reserve your space at:
